Think bigger…. speakers, workshops, panel, bar/cafe for networking and more.
As always, the theme of this event is being imperfectly perfect and authentically YOU on social media – this conference is about story sharing, interactive speakers, making connections, creating ace content for an audience, being bold, being real ….this is not a “how to” but instead is an empowering #ganon
This is the only event of it’s kind in the North East and i’m mega excited to be bringing it to Newcastle for 2020.
In the coming weeks, I will be revealing speakers but it’s time to get this live and folks talking about it.
Schedule will be as follows:
4pm – arrival
4.20pm start – intro from host me – The Culture Vulture.
4.30pm – Nyomi Winter – Nomipalony – feminist family lifestyle blogger…. Nyomi will be sharing her story as an influencer and content creator who runs her channels with passion and purpose working with mega brands like Ikea. Nyomi is smashing it over on Insta and her Insta Stories are some of my fave to watch- Rosie Ramsey herself is also a fan!
5pm – Mandy Barker – Sail Creative – Mandy Barker founder and lead creative at Sail Creative. Mandy will be leading a session on branding as a conversation, process of understanding and collaboration. Sail Creative promote the ethos that branding is no longer about perfection but is about connections!
5.30pm – Laura Rothwell – Crystlsd who are fresh from winning Small Agency of the Year from The North East Marketing Awards and several other awards across 2019. Laura Rothwell will be sharing her story and bliddy brilliant ethos, some insights into the types of clients she works with and amazing campaigns, some marketing hints and tips around how to connect with people (I.e. your current and future audiences) and she will be available to chat about how Crystlsd themselves work with influencers.
6pm – Carolyn Stritch – The Slow Traveller – Carolyn is an amazing content creator and has built up a following on insta of 223k!
Carolyn is a local lass, professional photographer and she once faked an entire trip to Disney Land Paris on her Insta as part of a Sunderland University project on influencers and how they show a curated “truth”. She will be sharing her story on stage!
6.30pm – 7.15pm – Break – with FlipnFast serving sweet and savoury pancakes.
7.15pm – 8pm – Panel with influencers, content creators and businesses. Contributers include influencer Katie Meehan, local business For the Love of the North, Instagram superstar Miller Grey and more to be announced.
8.15pm – 9pm – In conversation with Rosie Ramsey interviewed by The Culture Vulture.
This informal conference is for folks who do marketing/social media as part of their project/role/business/arts practice etc. It’s open self-employed, bloggers, content creators, artists, creatives, freelancers, professionals, SMEs, writers, performers, marketeers etc. ANYONE who creates content for their social media channel or someone elses.
Tickets are priced £35-£45 depending on stages of release.
