OUR AIM AND HOW WE ARE GOING TO ACHIEVE IT!
FLYING SPARKS is a project that’s aim is to support people from in and around Newcastle to make positive steps towards employment whilst taking part in a 16 week long, Level 2 Welding and Fabrication course at Newcastle College’s Energy Academy starting in September.
As part of our aim, we would like to support 20 participants into employment by January 2020. In order to achieve this aim, we will split the focus of our accompanying sessions, workshop and activities as shown below:
SEP – OCT
NOV – DEC
SO, WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU?
In a nutshell:
We aren’t looking for all of these from each individual business, however as they say, the more the merrier! It may be that you are currently unable to offer employment. That’s fine, you may be able to offer one of the other opportunities or create a unique opportunity of your own. Either way, we want to work with you to grow the skills and experience of our participants.
HOW DOES IT BENEFIT YOU?
As we are all aware, the current recruitment process does not always source the correct person for the job. Leading to high staff turnover and a lack of motivation in teams, due to a lack of passion. Each of these participants is involved because they want to change their current situation and they are interested in the sector. This is a unique opportunity to see a future employee in a work environment, connect with them, build rapport and loyalty and allows you to tailor their research and learning to your organisation before they begin working with your company.
In addition, you will be giving someone the opportunity to enhance their life, support themselves and grow as a person.
GET IN TOUCH!
If you would like to get involved or would like to find out more information please contact Jackson on 07856 246 375 or email email@example.com. We look forward to seeing how we can work with you!
